Job Description

CNC Turner/Machinist

We are looking for a Full-Time CNC Turner Programmer, Mazak experiences preferred. 

The duties of CNC Turner/Machinist include setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes among others.

Details as below:

• To set and operate CNC lathes, Mazatrol controls preferred, but Fanuc also considered.
• Reading engineering drawings.
• Machining to tight tolerances and ensuring conformity.
• Working efficiently, maintaining a clean work area, and minimizing waste.
• Setting up tools, jigs, and fixtures correctly and within company standards.
• Setting machine and loading it with the correct cutting tools.
• Positioning part ready for working, including material supplied. 

Requirements:

• Experience of Mazak SQT 250 lathe and Mazak SQT 100 lathe or Fanuc machines.
• A vey good understanding of engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of machining a range of materials to tight tolerances.
• Able to use various types of measuring equipment.
• Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
• Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and agreed targets.

Salary:

£15+ per hour depend on experiences and skill sets

Weekly Working Hours:

The working hours will be 39 hours per week.

24 Days Holiday per year plus bank holidays.
