Supply Chain Manager

Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to deliver service excellence to customers through cost effective sourcing worldwide, including the Far East.

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Strategic planning

Review the current supply chain and manufacturing operations to support the development and implementation of an effective supply chain strategy.

  • Procurement Management

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, components, and services. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Demand Planning

Effectively communicates forecast requirements to external Suppliers and challenge/solve extended lead times in a manner required to meet the business needs.

  • Logistics Coordination

Manage stock levels using IT systems and digital devices. Liaise with other departments to ensure good communication and dispatch requirements.

  • Identify and development suppliers

Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing.

  • Supplier Relationship Management

Evaluate supplier performance, establish strong relationships with key vendors to ensure continuity of supply and quality to ensure there is a seamless customer journey.

  • Performance Monitoring 

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of the supply chain function. Monitor and analyze KPIs regularly to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational excellence.

  • Compliance and Risk Management

Identify potential risks and disruptions to the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions, transportation delays, or natural disasters. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of these risks on business operations.

To succeed in this role, you will need to the following skills:

  • Experience in navigating complex supply chain challenges
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills
  • Analytical mindset coupled with strong business acumen
  • Proficiency in design software: Mastery of graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop) or Sketch.
  • IT Literate and strong in all Microsoft Office packages
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Mandarin)
